Area Rugs Document Effects from Atom Smashing Machine
If the effects of the atom smashing machine, the Hadron Collider, were documented in the form of area rugs, what would it look like? First, we would see an intense explosion of color and light - like the Shaw “Orbital” rug from the Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen Collection. Then that bright light will burn into thousands of smaller lights - like the Shaw “Mod About You” area rugs. Finally when the lights burn out and dim, from our eyelids being turned inside out, we’ll see something like the “Luster Washed” Collection from Nourison area rugs. Everything we’ve known will be muted and distorted, just like a watercolor that has been left out overnight in the rain.
