Choosing Sizes In Capel Rugs
One of the most challenging decisions when choosing Capel Rugs is what sizes you should have. Here are a few easy sizing tips, compliments of a panel of interior design experts at HGTV:
- Your Capel Rug should be two feet shorter than the smallest wall in the room.
- For bare front hallways, swing open the front door and measure the floor from that point, so roughly the first three feet remain clear.
- Hall rugs should have at least six inches of floor showing on all sides.
- Dining room rugs should stretch at least 18 inches beyond the edge of the table so your dining chairs are not sitting outside the rug.
- In bedrooms, use runners at the sides and foot, or place a rug one-third of the way under the bed so the rest of it creates a nice mat at the bottom of the bed.
