Many folks rose from their couches to a stand upon their discount area rugs as the US tennis team won their first cup since 1995. The Davis Cup was taken away by Bob Bryan, James Blake, Andy Roddick and Mike Bryan. It was quite a victory for the US, since it had been 13 years since Pete Sampras defeated the Russian team in Moscow. The 107-year old Davis Cup is noted as one of the oldest trophy’s in sports today. I am sure there will be much rejoicing, sipping of champagne conversing upon discount area rugs in a large banquet room. So, for us at home, we can grab our champagne or coke-a-cola and give our cheers to the US Team for a great victory, then flip the channel and relax back down upon our discount area rugs and watch The Office.
