Twelve Nuns Should Have Gone Shopping for Area Rugs
Let the nuns choose area rugs! Twelve nuns were turned away from their polling place due to a lack of photo IDs. The ladies had been around for 80 to 90 years and thought everyone knew who they were by now. It would have been much easier to let them shop for area rugs. None the less, they were turned away by fellow nun, Sr. McQuire at St. Mary Convent across from Notre Dame. “One came down this morning, she was 98, and said, “I don’t want to go do that” (get a photo ID). She was willing to get online and shop for area rugs. Some arrived with outdated passports and none drive. The convent vowed to help these ladies get “legal” by the time the general election rolls around in November.
