U2 Rocks Out On Area Rugs
Sitting around on area rugs, Irish band U2 are songwriting and recording from sunrise to sunset with Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno in ancient Fez, Morocco.
As seen in a news update on u2.com, the African stage was set for creativity with area rugs of all shapes, sizes, and colors, just like the ones you’ll find at Abingdon Rug Outlet. Scattered around a fountain in a strategically-dishevelled way, the Moroccan area rugs decorated and covered the scene where Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen, Jr. played their instruments. According to one of the team members in Fez, the band is ”on a roll and the ideas are coming thick and fast.”
